Thank you for contributing to Cigarwell! By following these guidelines, you help maintain a trustworthy and supportive community where we can all discover great places to buy and enjoy cigars.

1. Stay Relevant

Focus on your firsthand experience with the place you're reviewing (e.g., selection, atmosphere, service, or pricing). Off-topic rants—political ideologies, employment practices, and other unrelated topics—aren't the right fit here.

2. Keep It Civil

Express yourself honestly, but please avoid harassing or hateful language, threats, or lewd content. We welcome passion and detail—but not profanity, personal attacks, or bigotry.

3. Conflicts of Interest

Your review should be unbiased. Don't review your own business (or a relative's or friend's). Similarly, don't review direct competitors, or accept any compensation for a review. Businesses shouldn't solicit reviews from customers in exchange for discounts or freebies.

4. Respect Privacy

Please avoid posting personal or private details (like someone's full name if not publicly known, phone numbers, email addresses). Also, don't upload close-up photos of people unless you have their permission.

5. What's Allowed

Honest cigar reviews, ratings, and tasting notes.

Photos of cigars, lounges, and accessories.

Respectful discussion, tips, and recommendations.

Sharing your personal experiences and culture around cigars.

6. What's Not Allowed

Tobacco/Nicotine Sales: No buying, selling, trading, or advertising of cigars, tobacco, nicotine, or related products.

Illegal Content: No content that promotes illegal activity.

Hate Speech & Harassment: No attacks, slurs, bullying, or threats.

Sexual or Pornographic Content: Explicit images or text are strictly prohibited.

Spam & Scams: No misleading promotions, repetitive posts, or malicious links.

Self-Harm Content: No encouragement of self-harm or dangerous behavior.

Child Safety: Cigarwell is strictly for users aged 18+ (or 21+ where required by law). No content that exploits or endangers minors.

7. Moderation & Enforcement

Users can report posts, comments, or profiles that break these rules.

Reported content will be reviewed promptly.

Violations may result in content removal, warnings, or account suspension/ban.

8. Updating Reviews

If you revisit a shop or lounge and have a new experience, feel free to update your review. Keep edits meaningful—tell us what's changed rather than rehashing the same details.

9. Keep It Helpful

Think about what future customers might want to know—prices, humidor quality, staff knowledge, seating comfort, and overall atmosphere. The best reviews are personal, detailed, and useful.

10. CSAE / Safety Standards Statement

Cigarwell is an adults-only community (18+/21+). We do not permit any content that depicts, promotes, or exploits child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Zero Tolerance: Any CSAM content is immediately removed and reported to relevant authorities.

User Tools: Every post and profile includes a Report option for users to flag illegal or harmful content.

Moderation: Our team actively monitors reports and takes timely enforcement action.
